73 – The Perfect Challenge

Privacy Policy

Overview

73 – The Perfect Challenge works without an app account. The app has no advertising, advertising tracking, or third-party analytics SDKs. It does not upload player profiles or game history to a developer-operated server. Local multiplayer and Apple purchases involve the data exchanges described below.

Data on your device

The app stores your chosen player name or nickname, initials, avatar and colour, grammatical gender preference, language, game and accessibility settings, tutorial status, and gameplay statistics. If a game is saved, its player list, identifiers, scores, equations, round results and game settings are stored on the host device so the game can be continued. These data support gameplay, personalisation and progress display. A real name is not required.

Nearby multiplayer

Local network access is used to discover and connect nearby players through Apple Multipeer Connectivity. Your chosen player name can be visible during nearby discovery. Connected devices exchange player identifiers, names, initials, avatars, grammatical gender preferences, equations, scores, game rules and game state. Connections require encryption. Other players can see shared game information, and a host may retain it in a saved game. Use a nickname and play with people you trust. You can disable local network permission in iOS Settings; nearby multiplayer will then be unavailable or limited.

Players in a web browser

A host can let players without an iPhone join from a web browser by scanning a QR code. The host iPhone then runs a small web server that is reachable only on the same local Wi-Fi network while the game is open. The browser receives the game page from the host iPhone and exchanges the same game information described above (player name, initials, avatar, equations, scores and game state) directly with the host. This connection stays on your local network, does not pass through a developer server, and is not encrypted, so use it only on a Wi-Fi network you trust. The browser page uses no cookies. It remembers only the player name and random identifiers in the browser local storage so a returning player keeps their seat; clearing the browser site data removes them.

Purchases and Apple services

Apple processes Premium Host Pass payments through the App Store. The app uses StoreKit transaction information to verify, restore and maintain your purchase entitlement. The app does not receive your payment card details. Apple may process purchase, diagnostic and device-backup data under its own privacy policy and your device settings. Deleting this app does not delete Apple purchase records. The app does not provide its own cloud account or cloud-sync service.

Retention and deletion

Local settings and statistics remain until changed or until the app and its data are deleted. A saved game remains until replaced or deleted using the saved-game controls. To remove all local app data, use Delete App in iOS Settings, not Offload App. Device backups may contain earlier copies and are managed separately through Apple settings. Deletion on your device does not remove saved game information on another player’s device; ask that host to delete their saved game. The developer cannot remotely access or delete your local game data.

Children and permissions

No date of birth, email address or real name is required to play. Parents should help children choose a nickname and supervise nearby multiplayer and purchases. The app does not request access to contacts, photos, the camera, microphone or precise location. Game sounds and spoken commentary do not record your voice. The game does not collect health information.

Your choices and rights

You can edit your player details and preferences in Settings and choose solo play without nearby sharing. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal data, restrict or object to processing, request portability, or complain to your data protection authority. Most game data are held only on participating devices; the developer cannot retrieve them from a central database.

The app operator and privacy contact is Ideja Design d.o.o., Utik 4d, 1217 Vodice, Slovenia. Email: info@ideja-design.si.
